- Page froze or you refreshed. Reload it. The exam and its timer continue, and your answers are restored from your browser.
- Closed the tab or browser. Go to the course and press "Resume exam" before time runs out. Use the same browser and device, because your answers are stored there.
- Switched device. The timer carries over, but your saved answers do not, because they live in the original browser.
- Private or blocked storage. The exam still works, but it cannot remember answers if the page reloads.
- Time ran out. The exam submits itself. If you come back after the time has ended, the attempt closes with no answers and you can start a new one.
- Bad connection at the end. Submit early when you can. The score is only recorded once the submission reaches the site.
