Some free content coming soon!
We stop charging you for future months, and your access continues to the end of the period you already paid for. After that, paid content locks but your account and all of your progress stay exactly where you left them.
If it is your first subscription with us, you can ask for a refund of that first charge within 7 days, as long as you have not gone past the Introduction and the free demos. The full details are on the refunds page.
No, and none of that money comes to us. You pay CCO directly: $140 for the Core written exam, $80 for a specialty written exam and $70 for the practical, on their published fees effective January 2024 (the current ones are at nccco.org/fees). Your test site also charges separately for the crane and the examiner on the practical. Your subscription here covers the training that prepares you for all of it.
Month to month, cancel any time, and every course opens the moment you subscribe.

The exam fees are not ours and we never see them. $140 Core written, $80 specialty written and $70 practical are the certifying organization's own published fees, effective January 2024. You pay them directly, and you should check them before you budget because they can change: the current ones are at nccco.org/fees. A full prep-and-test program bundles them into its price, which is why that column reads “included” rather than free.
We are written-exam prep, and so is the middle column. Neither puts you on a crane: the practical needs seat time you arrange yourself, and that cost varies far too much by area for us to put a number on it honestly. If you want the machine time and the exam booking handled for you, that is what the right-hand column buys.
Other online prep courses. The ranges in the table below this one are public listings checked in September 2026: $95 for a 60-day window with about 200 questions and 50 load chart problems, $149.95 with no expiry for a bank advertising 515+ questions, $149 for an online training package, $550 for a course covering Core plus a specialty and a 12-hour on-demand course with a 365-day window whose price is not published.
Classroom courses. Public listings checked in September 2026 — for example a 3-day recertification program at $1,000 and a 5-day first-time program at $2,000 (both with exam fees included), and a guide to full program costs. Travel and lodging are our own estimates for one to two days locally versus three to five days away from home, and none of the columns count the wages you lose sitting in a classroom. Your own figures will depend on where you are and which course you would have taken.

Neither column puts you on a crane. This and every course in the right-hand column prepare you for the written examination. The practical is taken on a real machine at a test site, and the seat time to be ready for it is something you arrange yourself. Figures are what these programs publish about themselves, checked in September 2026 and quoted as ranges; prices and access windows change, so check theirs before you compare. Bought once and kept forever, a smaller question bank can work out cheaper than we do over a long enough run — what it will not do is grow.
Your subscription is the training that prepares you for the CCO Mobile Crane Operator written exams. It is not the exams. You book and pay CCO directly for the written and practical exams, and for your card itself — those are separate costs, set by them, and nothing here changes them.
We do not proctor or administer any examination. Unlike training providers who are also a test site, we run no exams, hold no test events and have no say in your result. You sit the written exam with a proctor and the practical at a test site, both arranged through CCO. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by CCO — we get you ready for its exams, and that is the whole of what we do.
