Forums are open to every signed-in student, with or without a subscription. They are for talking through the course material with other students. For a private answer from an instructor, use tutoring.
How it works
- Open Forums and press New Thread.
- Give it a title and write your post. You can format text and add links.
- Press Post Thread. Anyone signed in can reply.
Things to know
- Other students see your display name, not your real name.
- You can tick Post anonymously. Other students then see "Anonymous". Instructors can still see who wrote it.
- You can mark a thread or reply Helpful or Not Helpful.
- You can delete your own threads and replies. Instructors can delete any post and pin important threads to the top.
- You get an email when someone replies to a thread you started, unless you turn that off in Account Settings.
Being a good community member
The site does not yet publish written community rules. As a common-sense guide: be respectful, stay on topic, and do not share personal information. Never share your password with anyone.
