Tutoring is a private conversation between you and the instructors. It is included with a subscription. Without one, opening Tutoring takes you to the Subscription page.
To ask a question
- Open Tutoring and press New Question. From a course page, "Ask an instructor" starts one for that course.
- Write a subject (up to 120 characters) and your question (up to 5000 characters).
- Optionally choose the course it is about, and attach screenshots (up to 4 images per message, 10 MB each).
- Press Send question.
Following the answer
- Each question is its own conversation. Only you and the instructors can see it.
- The status shows "Waiting on instructor", "Answered" or "Closed". A "New reply" badge appears when an instructor answers.
- Reply in the same conversation to ask more. Replying to a closed question reopens it.
- You get an email when an instructor replies, unless you turned that off in Account Settings.
The site does not promise a specific response time. For a sign-in, billing or account problem, use the Contact page instead.
